Bruges, aka “The Venice of the North,” is a gorgeous medieval city that requires little planning to visit. It’s big enough for you to spend a solid day or two in, but small enough that you can just show up, grab a map, and wander around. My day started out a bit rainy and cold (hence the dreary looking photos initially), but soon enough it turned into a lovely spring day, and I had the most amazing time! Plus, it didn’t hurt that I ended my visit with some amazing ice cream.
What cities are on your bucket list? I’m visiting one of mine right now: Salzburg! I can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Signing off,
Claire

I loved Bruges, it’s just so pretty! Did you have time to climb the Belfry Tower?
Claire says
I didn’t climb it because it was so rainy in the morning, so I wasn’t sure if the fog would mess up the view :/ I should’ve done it once it warmed up, but I was just too excited to keep walking around!

Thank you! And you’re so lucky to live close to such a gorgeous town (and such good ice cream–I can’t get over how good it was!).

Hmm… which cities are on my bucket list? Reykjavik for sure. Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Shanghai, Bangkok, Edinburgh, Dublin, Chicago, Vancouver… There are so many more places I’ve yet to explore…
