I’m kind of addicted to Instagram. The number of times I scroll through it each day is insane, and there are certain bloggers I’m always itching to see new content from. While I follow a huge range of accounts, there’s a special place in my heart for my fellow travel bloggers. The following travel Instagram accounts share photos of everything from affordable travel to hiking adventures to major #foodporn from around the world.
No matter what types of travel photos you love, I’m sure you’ll love these bloggers as much as I do.
Maddy & Mauricio from Travel Alphas (@travelalphas)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BQibkWwlNho/?taken-by=travelalphas
The Travel Alphas is a blog run by two 20-somethings, Maddy and Mauricio. They post a good mixture of super affordable and luxury travel and their photos are very real—no oversaturation or obvious editing of photos here. Best of all, these two are absolute gems. I met Maddy almost two years ago, and she’s as passionate about traveling and sharing her stories as her Insta feed suggests.
Jessica Wright from Bon Traveler (@bontraveler)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTrEaq8gOk1/?taken-by=bontraveler
Jessica’s feed is chock full of photos from her adventures around the world. Her photos are a good blend of outdoor adventures and luxury travel, and she has a knack for telling stories through her photos.
Rosie from The Londoner (@rosielondoner)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTq9fk-jLJM/?taken-by=rosielondoner
Though technically not a travel account, you definitely want these photos on your feed. The Londoner is run by—you guessed it—a British gal named Rosie who lives in London. She travels quite a lot and shares the most incredible photos. Her captions are often punny and she keeps things super down-to-earth. She also has an adorable pup named Custard who you often see throughout her travel, recipe, and outfit snaps.
Rachel from Global Roaming (@global.roaming)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTTdB9gDqac/?taken-by=global.roaming
Rachel seems to always be on the move. Her feed features lots of lush Australian beaches and outdoor adventures. She visited 35 countries before she was 24, if that tells you anything about how much of an adventure-seeker she is.
Dame Traveler (@dametraveler)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTfFxZXlPXk/?taken-by=dametraveler
If you’re a female traveler, Dame Traveler is the Insta account for you. Dame Traveler posts photos from amazing travel bloggers around the world with the purpose of empowering women to go out and see the world. Now that’s a mission I can get behind!
Brooke Saward from World of Wanderlust (@worldwanderlust)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BRG9DcShMYU/?taken-by=worldwanderlust
For lack of a better description, Brooke Saward’s blog World of Wanderlust was to me what marijuana is to future drug addicts. She was my gateway into the travel blogging world, and her photos are absolutely stunning. In addition to traveling the world, she has her own bakery in Australia. Needless to say, she’s not one to shy away from some classy #foodporn now and then.
Savi and Vid from Bruised Passports (@bruisedpassports)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTnXuLYgM1t/?taken-by=bruisedpassports
Savi and Vid are a husband and wife duo who spend much of their time adventuring. Their feed is a mix of gorgeous travel shots and adorable couple photos (they’re not gross about it though!). You can tell they love traveling together, and they’re quick to respond to comments on their photos, which is a plus.
Sabina from Girl vs Globe (@girlvsglobe)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTH223fg3nV/?taken-by=girlvsglobe
Sabina is an absolute lady boss who is 100% herself on Instagram. If you’re looking for a good mix of outdoorsy adventure shots and cityscapes, this is the account for you. Sabina always ends her photo captions with a question for her followers, and obviously enjoys getting to know her readers. She has a huge personality as well, making her Insta stories some of my favorite to watch.
Caroline from The Belle Abroad (@thebelleabroad)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BT9tJoIF7a5/?taken-by=thebelleabroad
Caroline’s feed is ultra feminine and full of color. She’s originally from the South but is now based out of London (the dream, isn’t it?). Her photos are definitely travel-oriented, but they have a fashion blogger flair to them as well. If bold colors, scenic views, and outfit posts are your thing, then you’ll love The Blonde Abroad.
Nicola from Polkadot Passport (@polkadotpassport)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BSxtb1ODipD/?taken-by=polkadotpassport
Nicola is an Aussie girl with a serious case of wanderlust. She seems to never go on the same adventure twice and is one of the sweetest bloggers out there (seriously, she seems so insanely nice on her Insta stories). Nicola used to own her photography business (perhaps still does?), and her photos are incredibly vibrant and always tell a story.
Eden from Mint Notion (@mintnotion)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BUKICtoDV_X/?taken-by=mintnotion
Eden’s blog has morphed into this fantastic travel/money saving account. She shares solely travel photos on her Instagram, but her blog is chock full of finance and travel tips. She knows a lot about blogging and growing an audience as well, so definitely check out her account out if you’re looking for real life advice on making your travel dreams a reality.
Bolt and Keel (@boltandkeel)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BKyRrnrDVqz/?taken-by=boltandkeel
Are you really surprised to see a cat Instagram on this list? If regular travel photos aren’t your thing, you have to follow these adventurous felines. These kitties have gone kayaking, hiking, and any number of exciting trips. I’m pretty sure a tiny piece of my soul died and went to heaven the first time I saw Bolt and Keel in their rain jackets.
Claire & Laura from Twins That Travel (@twins_that_travel)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BTWEV0uDnyQ/?taken-by=twins_that_travel
Claire and Laura are twins (hence the blog name) who are based out of England. Their captions are very in the moment and their feed reminds me of photos my friends send me from their own travels (though Claire and Laura’s are much better quality!). If you’re into travel blogs as well, you should definitely check theirs out. They don’t just offer up travel tips on their website, but rather take the time to really craft the story behind where they were to suck you into their travel moments with them.
Liz Carlson from The Young Adventuress (@youngadventuress)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BT0Gg1YFcBZ/?taken-by=youngadventuress
If you love the nature photography in National Geographic magazine, then you’ll love the Young Adventuress account. When I think of what I’d like my travel photos to look like in five years time, Liz’s work comes immediately to mind. Whether or not you’re the outdoorsy type, you need this account in your Insta feed pronto.
Amanda from Dangerous Business (@dangerousbiz)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BQCQhf_FVc4/?taken-by=dangerousbiz
Amanda is an amazing writer based out of Ohio (gotta support my fellow Midwesterners!). Unlike many bloggers on this list, she doesn’t travel full-time. She juggles a regular 9 to 5 with her travel account and is doing an excellent job of it, in my opinion. Her feed is a good mix of art, history, landscape, and city photos, and she isn’t constrained by a particular color palette or theme. Her account is all-around fabulous to follow.
If I’ve missed any travel Instagram accounts that you love, please leave their handle in the comments below! What type of travel accounts are you most interested in?
Also, make sure you’re following my Instagram account to keep up with my adventures!

Claire

Wow, SO many great Instagram accounts listed. I feel so honored that you included me. I also love following along with Bolt and Keel’s adventures. Those cats are just too cute! 🙂

I’ve been reading your blog for almost two years now (time flies!), so I knew I had to include you! And yes, aren’t they the cutest?? Seeing their photos somewhat makes up for my having left my cats at home with my parents when I moved.
